I don't update this site enough. But lately I haven't been drawing a lot of LH-related things, anyway. I need to work on my AP Studio Art portfolio (which I'm hesitant to make too LH-centric), but I'm doing a comic book illustration class next week and I'll be sure to get some LH in!

Since I last updated, I've been to a lot of events, hm~

The Europe trip increased my confidence, so lately I've been taking the Metro more often. ☆ Down to Little Tokyo in Los Angeles, for example, where I get my overpriced VK magazines and CDs. Last time I got アリス九號.「Alpha」 and 椎名林檎「私と放電」

It's been a while since I updated here~ Well! I have one more event to add to my schedule:

Well, as for things you actually care about! There's a new illustration that I'm proud of in the ILLUST section. The picture is a preview. Please look at it☆ The brushes I used on this piece came from masterjinn.

Also, in the EXTRA section--! The FANWORKS section has finally been updated! Becca wrote a story for my birthday. It inspired me to write, too! v(￣▽￣)v

Nell's album 「Separation Anxiety」 is good~ I recommend that everybody listens to it!

Hmm, lately, I'm a big fan of アリス九號., too~ (^>▽^<) 「MIRROR BALL」 is good~

I've been so busy with school lately, it's been really hard to update this site. I've drawn new [ LH ] pieces, but I don't like them all that much. Not enough to put them here, anyway. ><

Expect a site revamp sometime soon. I want to change some things in the CSS and the layout, and add a sitemap.

Ah, Springtime~ I actually might have Spring Break to myself this year, so who knows what kinds of BEAUTIFUL FINISHED DRAWINGS (or even comic pages!) may come out of it! ~~Forget that I have a persuasive speech to write...~~

No new art today (I have some base drawings I haven't scanned yet and want to digitize), but there are some site updates!

• I changed the ABOUT section to have subsections: PREMISE, ARTIST, and the new section: CHARACTER! Because the old [ LH ] site was deleted due to inactivity, the information I'd stored there was lost! So now I have my character info all in one neat little place.
• There's a new section on the navigation frame: EXTRA! This new section contains crack doodles and random extras. In the future, it will also house my [ LIFEHAZARD ] writings (drabbles, etc.) and possibly fanart (once I get permission from the artists).

How exciting! In other news, it seems like I'm going to get to go to Europe after all! This summer, I will be traveling to London (England), Paris (France), and Rome (Italy)--taking the train underneath the English Channel from England to France and stopping in Florence / Assisi on the way to Rome.

After losing some weight, Becca and I plan on doing some [ LH ] cosplay while in Europe. I've been practicing my Claude face!

All in all, here's a tentative event schedule (if any of you are interested in stalking me ♥):

• May 24-25 FanimeCon 2008 San Jose, CA Dates are tentative, since we're not sure of the schedule/our plan. I'm only there to see アンティック-珈琲店-
• June 22-Jul 1 Europe I'll update this when I know more ☆
• Jul 3-6 Anime Expo 2008 UNOFFICIAL---I haven't registered yet! Pretty much the only reason I'm going is to hang out with Tabé. >w<)b

I've been RPing my beloved Claude for the past week or so at Heleos~ It's really fun, but he's being bent in really funny ways because of this (Heleos-only) twin brother that magically appeared. XD

Anyway, I realized that I TOTALLY LOVE CLAUDE MORE THAN I LOVE KEI, and I need to draw him more.

It was my birthday 2/15. I got a tablet! So I've been practicing with it a lot since I got it, and I think I basically understand how to draw with it? Anyway, here are some site updates:

• new ILLUST added! DPI is huge, though, so I'm sorry about that
• this drawing added to SCRAP gallery

There's also some pretty hilarious [ LIFEHAZARD ] -related stuff on my deviantART account. Check out Kei's character meme; it's funny, I promise.

Also, random pimping! Everyone should pre-order 杉本善徳's new mini-album 『春夢ホワイトホール（HARUYUME WHITE HALLS）』! This is evidently the CD he told me about when I e-mailed him on his birthday... I pre-ordered my copy (limited edition DVD version) already, get yours, too!

I'm done with trying to CG... -A-;; It's too painful time-consuming. This was done by hand off of the previous version, with minimal tracing (I was at school, the transfer paper wasn't on-hand).

Good news, though: it looks like I'm going to be getting a tablet for my birthday! (Feb 15) That means more updates for [ LH ], yay- ...

I haven't tried to CG anything in a long time. :< Working on just the lines for now... I was never any good at coloring in PS, and I'm pretty bad at doing it with just the mouse. Still, no tablet! TAT;

I'm rusty at it.

Setting up the site has been a nice distraction from my homework, but I suppose there's no avoiding it... I've added two pieces to the SCRAP section; really the only things I've drawn in 2008 that are half-way decent. We'll see!
